My Web Design Process

My approach to web design is rooted in strong User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) design principles. That means every site I create is not only visually engaging but also intuitive and user-friendly—making it easy for your clients to navigate, connect, and take action.

While I’m continuing to expand my coding skills, I specialize in building customized websites using powerful Content Management Systems (CMS) like Squarespace, Shopify, and WordPress. These platforms allow me to create tailored solutions that align with both your business goals and the needs of your audience—without sacrificing flexibility or polish.

🧠 Understanding Your Users (UX Focus)

UX design starts with empathy. I begin every project by learning about your business, your goals, and—most importantly—your audience. Who are they? What are they looking for? What frustrates them about your current site, or your competitors’ sites? From there, I map out user flows and site structures that make it easy for visitors to navigate, find information, and take meaningful action (like making a purchase, booking a service, or contacting you). I focus on:

  • Clear and consistent navigation

  • Logical content hierarchy

  • Mobile-first, responsive design

  • Clear calls-to-action tailored to user intent
